When mankind beams a radio signal into space, there arises a reply in the form of alien crafts which dab down from the seas off Hawaii, from' Earth''. Lieutenant Alex Hopper is really just a weapon officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones, part of a global naval coalition that becomes the planet's last hope for success as they participate the hostile alien force of strength. Hopper must try to live up his brother, along with his own fiancée's dad expect of him while taking on the invaders.
