Wild Palms
Wild Palms is a five-hour miniseries that was produced by Greengrass Productions and aired on the ABC network in the USA in May 1993. The scifi play, announced being a"event show", deals with the dangers of sexually motivated misuse of bulk media technology, virtual realities specifically. It was founded on a comic strip exemplified by Julian Allen first published in Details magazine in 1990 and written by Bruce Wagner. Wagner, who also wrote the screenplay, served as executive producer with Oliver Stone. The show stars Kim Cattrall, Dana Delany, Robert Loggia, James Belushi and Angie Dickinson. Kathryn Bigelow, Keith Gordon, Peter Hewitt and Phil Joanou directed the episodes.
