The Bill Cosby Show is an American situation comedy which aired until 1971, under the sponsorship of Procter & Gamble. There have been 52 episodes. It indicated the first solo foray of Bill Cosby in television. The show also marked the first time an African American starred in their very own eponymous humor series.
