Richard Blaimert and its executive producer made the show is Jocelyn Deschênesthe exact same creative team behind the original show. It was the CBC's second attempt to generate an variation of a show following less successful Rumours.
Back in February 2008, it was announced that the show was bought by ABC Family. The system signed on an option for the next season of this show, in addition to for the first 13 episodes.
On March 27, 2009, the show was cancelled by CBC due to poor ratings.
