My Super Sweet 16
My Super Sweet 16 is really just a MTV reality show documenting the lives of most teenagers, usually at Canada, the USA and UK, that usually have wealthy parents that throw tremendous comingofage celebrations. Parties include the 16 the quinceañera, and additional festivals including My Super Swag 18 and a My Super Sweet 21. The series premiered on January 18, 2005. The opening motif is"Sweet Sixteen" sung by Hilary Duff.
The series has also covered lots of celebrity coming of age parties. Soulja Boy Tell Em, Sean Kingston, Aly and AJ, Chris Brown and Bow-wow have had their parties.
A UK model of this program was produced, in addition to a Spanish version eligible"Quiero mis quinces" or"Super Dulces 16" made by MTV.
In 2008, MTV found a spinoff titled Exiled. On the series, a number of parents of participants on My Super Sweet 16 frees their adolescents to remote countries so as to see whether their own"candy sixteener" will survive the harsh conditions. MTV announced their new addition to the franchise,'' also a horror movie, My Super Psycho Sweet 16 based on the concept.
