Little Women
Little Women, also referred to as Wakakusa no Yon Shimai, is a 1981 Japanese animated television series adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Kazuya Miyazaki directs the series and produced by Toei Animation for its Kokusai Eigasha firm.
The series had been produced like a followup to a TV special based on Alcott's novel by the animation studio. The TV series personality designs differ marginally from people of the TV special. Jo, as an instance, while she's blonde in both variants, has curled hair rather than hair from it series.
This show is sometimes confused with Nippon Animation's 1987 World Masterpiece Theater TV series founded on Small Women, Ai no Wakakusa Monogatari, as both series were dubbed in English and broadcast on U.S. satellite tv in the 1980s. Moreover, both TV series share a voice celebrity: Keiko Han, who plays with Beth in this TV series, was cast from the 1987 series as Meg.
