Linebarrels of Iron
Linebarrels of Iron Is Also a Japanese manga series created by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. The series was first serialized in Akita Shoten's monthly sh?nen manga magazine, Champion Red, in 2005. It's been compiled into eleven tank?bon, as of November 20, 2008. The narrative focuses on Kouichi Hayase, a fourteen-year-old boy living a mediocre life, until an accident turns him to the pilot using a gigantic robot known as"Linebarrel" and directs him to encounter a mysterious girl.
An adaptation of the manga series has been announced in the February issue of Animage magazine. Masamitsu Hidaka and revived directs the anime by Gonzo. Though the world premiere of the first installment took place the series premiered in Japan. The anime broadcast an overall total of episodes, the last of which aired on March 20, 2009. To commemorate the series' adaptation, Shimizu and Shimoguchi decided to create a 1 shot manga, recreating the whole first episode of the anime.
