Knight Rider
Michael Long, an undercover officer, is shot while investigating an incident and left for dead by his assailants. He is rescued by Wilton Knight, a wealthy, dying aide and creator who arranges life-saving surgery, for example a new identity and a fresh face --that of Michael Knight. Michael is then provided a particular automatic and indestructible car known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand (nicknamed KITT), and a mission: apprehend criminals who are beyond the range of the law. The series depicts Michael's exploits and KITT battle with the forces of evil for Law and Government.
