Jam
Jam is a post modern dark comedy show created, written and directed by Chris Morris, also was broadcast on Channel 4 throughout April 2000 and March. It was based on the sooner BBC Radio 1 series also contained a set of unsettling sketches.
The original radio soundtracks were reused by many of the sketches with the celebrities lipsynching their traces, an unusual technique that included into the unsettling atmosphere of the programme.
The cast, that comprised those who Morris had worked with on his previous TV job like the Day Today and Brass Eye, included Amelia Bullmore, David Cann, Julia Davis, Kevin Eldon and Mark Heap, in addition to occasional appearances from Morris himself. Chris Morris and Peter Baynham wrote it, with material led by Jane Bussmann, David Quantick, Graham Linehan, Arthur Mathews and also the cast.
