Kagome Higurashi is a modern day young girl who lives with her family by the old Higure shrine. Unbeknownst to Kagome, she's the reincarnation of priestess Kikyo and also posseses the"Jewel of Four Souls" (the Shikon stone ). One day, Kagome finds an ancient well near her home also can be suddenly transported through the well and into a feudal Japan, occupied by demons. She encounters Inu-Yasha, son of a human mother and a powerful demon father, who is immobilized into a tree by an arrow that is amazing.
