Heading Out
Venturing out is really a sitcom starring comedian created by Sue Perkins. It was first broadcast on BBC Two on 26. Moving out tells the story of Sara, a veterinarian who's given an ultimatum by her own friends to inform her parents that she is gay. Perkins had the concept of its sitcom before she acquired the confidence to write it. Venturing out was commissioned for a full chain in April 2012 and production began in September. The show wasn't commissioned for a second series.
