Linda La Hughes (Kathy Burke) shares a Level with Tom Farrell (James Dreyfus). Linda is perhaps not particularly attractive, loud-mouthed and also obese. She believes she is irrestible and gorgeous , yet. She gender mad and obsessed with men. Tom is an aspiring actor. He has got an agent, but finds it hard to have parts. He does not enjoy Linda much, notwithstanding (or because of) the very fact that they share a flat. Because she finds it hard to live with a guy who does not find her sexually attractive, she is familiar with his homosexuality.
