Dharma & Greg is a American television sitcom that aired from September 24, 1997.
It celebrities Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson as Dharma and Greg Montgomery, a couple that got married on their original date despite being opposites. The series is co-produced by More-Medavoy Productions Chuck Lorre Productions and 4to 6 Foot Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television for ABC. The show's theme song was written and performed with composer Dennis C. Brown.
Created by executive manufacturers Dottie Dartland and Chuck Lorre, the humor took a lot of its inspiration from so called culture-clash"fish out of water" situations. The show earned also six Satellite awards nominations, six Emmy Award nominations, along with eight Golden Globe nominations. Elfman earned a Golden Globe for Best Actress in 1999.
