Captain Flamingo
Captain Flamingo is a Canadian animated television series that follows the exploits of Milo Powell, the series' protagonist and primary character. The television series was created by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation. It aired on YTV in Canada on February7,2006, and is also broadcast on Jetix, Nicktoons, and the ABC in Australia. News indicated that the series would launch on JETIX in the United States in2007, but Toon Disney's updated schedule placed the premiere on January28,2008, at 8:30 a.m. On August12,2008, Captain Flamingo was withdrawn from the Toon Disney schedule, but he returned on September 2 at 5:30 a.m. When Toon Disney was relaunched as Disney XD on February13,2009, Captain Flamingo was again taken off the air, and it has not broadcast in the United States since. Undetermined age is assigned to the titular character. The only notable superpower he possesses is the impulse to assist "little youngsters" in peril. His "super powers" manifest in novelty goods such as a whoopee cushion, among others. Reruns no longer air on YTV; nevertheless, they are being seen on the Canadian Nickelodeon channel.
