Bette is just a CBS tv show which originated on October 11, 2000, also was the introduction of the entertainer Bette Midler in an outcome tv-series role. A"one-season miracle", 16 episodes were aired on CBS, with its final telecast on March 7, 2001. Eighteen episodes altogether were produced, with the two broadcast in foreign exchange and in HDTV simulcasting. Jeffrey Lane created bette, together with Midler serving as one of the executive producers.
