BeastMaster
BeastMaster can be. It was based on a 1982 MGM film The Beastmaster. The show aired for three seasons that were complete. It is Created by Coote/Hayes Productions.
The show was nominated for its Open Craft Award in the category of cinematography by the Australian Film Institute in 2000, also for its Saturn Award for the Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series at the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films, USA, in 2001. BeastMaster is now running in syndication around Sci-Fi Channel in the USA, however, maybe perhaps not in any slots.
