Comedy centering on Dr. George Coleman, a high veterinarian having an impressive collection of famous animal patients at the Crane Animal Hospital - a bustling New York City veterinary practice by which it frequently seems as though the patients have been running the location. Despite his unorthodox personality, George has an indisputable gift except that the kind - with critters of all kinds. Much to his chagrin,'' George is currently George's boss and recently learned his ex-girlfriend,'' Dorothy Crane, has inherited the family business. Whip smart and hard, the hospital shakes up because she butts heads with George administration and brings order.
