Carol and her friends get ready for a new year of school, going to the beach, and having fun in Rio de Janeiro, but their friendship will be put to the test. Carol will have to deal with her mother's marriage, her stepfather being her teacher, her annoying half-brother, and the problems of her friends. But they'll stick together... or not.
