In rugby, there is no genius striker, there is no number four batter, so who is the celebrity of the team? The story begins at school entrance ceremony of Kanagawa senior high school at which the rugby club is joined by a go getter that is small but gutsy, Kenji Gion. He unites his classmate, Iwashimizu, who has sub-captain Hachiouji, that takes good care of his Club members and a past. Lastly, there was certainly Captain Sekizan, who has forces that are overwhelming but keeps his cards near his chest. With gaps in physical operation and both personality, the team needs to learn to grow and work together in order that they may grow to be the ideal.
