Aída is actually a Spanish comedy sitcom set in Madrid, that twist off from the other sitcom called 7 Vidas. Globomedia for your Spanish network Telecinco first aired on January 16, 2005 and produces the show. It started its ninth season.
The show stars Carmen Machi as the title character, a working, Aída García , single mother with two teenage kids, forced to move in with her mother and brother to pay the bills.
The show has received criticism against the crowd and also it has been the most viewed show in Spain as 2007. It has received several awards just like the Ondas Award for Best Spanish sit com.
