When the US military recovers a terrorist's body, it is incinerated, accidentally unleashing the virus/bacteria into the sky over a tiny island. A trio of soldiers on leave must team up with a bunch of tourists and board themselves up in an abandoned hotel to fend off the nimble and violent living dead.
