Nikkatsu has revived the Roman Porno label and begun producing new works, reclaiming its role as a sandbox for cinematic creativity. Hideo Nakata began working for Nikkatsu as an assistant director, but this is his first Roman Porno film as a director. With regard for his teacher, filmmaker Masaru Konuma, he tackles a lesbian world. Tokiko, a ceramicist, and Haruka, her trainee, are dating. The couple is not lesbian, but they met by chance.
