The Tree
The O'Neills lived inside their house from the Australian countryside. That was before one day fate struck blindly, taking the life span of Peter leaving his wife Dawn with their four children. Among them, eight-year-old Simone denies this reality. She's convinced that her dad lives in the giant fig tree and also speaks to her through its leaves. But the shrub simplifies the home and gets more and more invasive. It must be felled. Of course, Simone won't permit it.
