The Story of the Last Chrysanthemum
Kikunosuke Onoue, the adopted son of a great actor, realizes that he is solely acclaimed for his talent because he is his father's heir. He is devastated and looks to Otoku, a household servant, for solace. Kikunosuke decides to leave home and pursue acting on his own, and Otoku joins him.
