Joshua Lazarus (Nick Stahl) is a telepath that has been raised at a NSA nurture home. Lazarus helps the federal government. He's told by the bureau he will end up mad, and which the telepathy has been a negative result of Widmann's Illness and eventually die from the illness. However, Lazarus meets a woman with comparable powers (Taryn Manning) that Doesn't Have any sign of this disorder, starting Lazarus to confront the lies he's been told
