A young woman Mianhua ("Cotton") gets a job that she has never achieved before: to be always a full time caretaker of an older tenacious boxer who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. The older man's child with his later wife lives overseas and almost takes care of himand his daughter together along with his exwife hi res Mianhua to take care of him - but the daughter distrusts and despises all nannies to get"knows just lying, abusing, also shooting advantages".
