The Reluctant Debutante
Hello Jimmy and Sheila Broadbent! Jane, Jimmy's 17-year-old. Jane, Jimmy's first wife, has arrived to see her father and stepmother. Sheila proposes to make Jane a debutante, but Jane refuses. Sheila's cousin, Mabel Claremont, is desperate to win affluent David Fenner for her debutante daughter Clarissa, and Jane's interest to David Parkson, an American drummer who plays in the orchestra at the coming-out balls.
