The Price of Desire
Eileen Gray(1878–1976), an Irish architect and furniture designer, was a key figure in the modern design movement. This elegant depiction of her later life and work in France focuses on the tensions between Gray (Orla Brady), her lover Badovici (Francesco Scianna), and Le Corbusier (Vincent Perez). Alanis Morrissette (Delicatessen, Amélie) also appears as chanteuse Marisa Damia, Gray's other lover, alongside Dominique Pinon (Delicatessen, Amélie) as artist Fernand Léger.
