The Pianist
The story of pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman's experiences during the Nazi occupation in Warsaw. Szpilman finds work playing in a café If this city's Jews find themselves pushed into a ghetto. And when his family is deported in 1942, he remains below, works for a while as a laborer, and ultimately goes into hiding in the ruins of this city.
