The Lumber Baron
Following his father's unexpected death, Daniel Rimsdale leaves medical school and returns home to the Chippewa Valley to try to overthrow the family timber business that is floundering and rescue his family. But heavy opposition is met by him from an older friend Silas Lynch, of his father's, who can stop at nothing to safeguard rumored treasure and the Rimsdale mansion it comprises.
