The Juror
With his gangster boss on trial for murder, even a mob thug referred to as"the Teacher" informs Annie Laird she has to talk her fellow jurors into a not guilty verdict, implying that he'll kill her son Oliver when she neglects. She manages to accomplish so, however, she sends Oliver abroad and attempts to gather proof of this plot against her, even putting up a showdown as it becomes evident that the mobsters might wish to silence her permanently.
