Caroline Williams, a well-known social media travel blogger, is tasked with covering a century-old Christmas procession in Carte De Amor, New Mexico. Caroline travels anyhow, despite her displeasure with the assignment, and meets Oscar Ortiz, a high school music instructor who introduces her to a side of Christmas she has never experienced, complete with new rituals and meanings. Caroline falls in love with Christmas all over again in the twelve days leading up to Christmas and discovers true love for herself.
