Vera Parks, an intense and ambitious Broadway manager, gets fired from yet another job, leaving no choice but to get a gig directing a little town Christmas pageant in ny. At how the production is stunned, Vera attempts to back out, but is convinced by some of these locals to give their town a opportunity. To her surprise, the charm and warmth of the town develops on Vera and she even enjoys the adventure of directing the pageant. She's outraged when her prior fiancé Jack advocated her to get the job is discovered by Vera. As she develops close to both Jack and his daughter but as time passes the gesture is appreciated by Vera. Will love stay from the wings this time round?
