The Baker's Wife
In this little Provencal village, a new baker, Aimable, settles down. His wife Aurelie is attractive and much younger than he. She departs with a guard the night after Aimable creates his initial breads. Aimable is so affected that he can not work anymore. Therefore, the citizens, that originally poked fun at his cuckoldry, take the matter really seriously (they want the bread) and organize a plan to locate Aurelie and also to bring her back to the bakeshop.
