The Accidental Detective
Dae-man is an avid fan of criminal investigations and maintains a popular blog in which he discusses the largest unsolved mysteries in the country. He had aspirations of becoming a homicide investigator, but after years of trying and failing, he is now the owner of a comic book shop. Because he is unable to provide adequately for his family, he is extremely careful around his wife. However, he is powerless to stop himself from going to the police station on a daily basis. One day, his best friend and colleague, Jun-su, a detective, is accused of carrying out the murder. Dae-man decides to look into the matter in order to demonstrate his friend's complete innocence. Only the old and discarded Detective Noh offers his assistance to his partner who is now in a difficult situation. The hypothesis of a cold case specialist blogger is combined with the practical knowledge of an experienced detective, and the three decide to undertake a joint investigation into the alleged killing of their friend.
