Fred takes refuge at the Paris Metro after being chased by the henchmen of a dishonest business man from whom he's stolen a few records. Fred encounters a subterranean society of petty offenders and bizarre personalities while hiding out from the back chambers and conduits of this Metro. Despite being chased by the henchmen, Fred finds the time to flirt with Héléna, blow off a secure, rob a train, stop the authorities, and begin a rock band
