Rootwood follows two students who sponsor'The Spooky Hour', a podcast about phenomena and legends. Once they are hired with a Hollywood movie maker to shoot a horror film regarding this Wooden Devil's curse they smell their own opportunity. Together, together with their friendthey enter Rootwood Forest and also investigate the region to learn the facts regarding his victims and The Wooden Devil.
