Resisting Roots
After their parents were killed in a car accident, Genevieve Harper makes the most of the opportunity to care for her two younger brothers. Viv is just 24, but she has already committed her life to giving her family the greatest life she can possibly give them, even at the expense of her own goals and ambitions. After Trent Fox, a well-known baseball star both on and off the field, visits Viv at her place of employment, the Lotus House Yoga Center, in order to recover from an injury, the two of them are immediately drawn to one another. But Viv just does not have the time to invest in a relationship with a man, much less one that would only end in heartbreak. Is it possible for a love to develop between a woman who is well-established in her life and a guy who fights any suggestion that he should do the same?
