Oscar and Lucinda
Oscar Hopkins becomes an Anglican pastor after being abused by his evangelistic father as a boy. Lucinda Leplastrier, an Australian heiress, is in London hunting for materials for her new glass factory. Oscar decides to go to Australia as a missionary and meets Lucinda on the ship. They make a bet that will change their lives.
