France's central city of Clermont-Ferrand. Isadora is a married, middle-aged sex prostitute who Médéric meets and falls in love with. Selim, a young homeless man, incites a wave of fear by seeking refuge in Médéric's building when the city center is the target of a terrorist attack. Mederic's life abruptly devolves into chaos as a result of his sympathy for Selim and obsession with Isadora.
