Christopher Gill is a psychotic assassin who deceives and strangles his victims in various disguises. Moe Brummel, a lonely New York City investigator, starts getting phone calls from the strangler, leading to an odd alliance. Kate Palmer, a sassy, hip tour guide, sees the strangler leave her dead neighbor's apartment and targets the cop. A successful Jewish doctor like his big brother, Moe's mother desires for him.
