James Stewart plays Theodore Honey, the most bizarre absent minded professor: vibrant, although bizarre, forgetful to aeronautical engineer. His studies demonstrate that the aircraft has a subtle but mortal design defect which manifests itself just after a quantity of hours has flown. En to prove his theory,'' Honey finds he is aboard a plane immediately approaching his predicted deadline.
