Mudhoney
In this narrative, Calef quits in Spooner, Missouri, at which he is hired by Lute for tasks and is travel to California from Michigan. Calef gets involved with the niece of Lute , Hannah. However she's married to Sidney, a drunk who expects to inherit his uncle-in-law's money. Also an eccentric preacher along with sidney plot against Calef, that finds it tough to hide his mysterious past and his growing affection for the wife of Sidney.
