Leonard Shelby is searching for the guy who raped and murdered his spouse. The trouble of finding his wife's killer, however, is warranted with the fact that he suffers from a rare, untreatable form of memory loss. Leonard cannot remember why, or what happened where he is going although they could remember details of life before his accident.
