For three generations, the Mafia family Patern has been dressed by the Gamache, a family-owned and -operated tailoring business. Together with his oldest son Giaco, Vincent "Vince" Gamache works on behalf of Frank the godfather. Vince is hasty and careless, and he wants to impress the godfather to earn his stripes. He executes a significant operation covertly and gains promotion. Giaco learns that Vince performed a heinous crime during his stroke, and he becomes furious with jealousy. The war starts after the Gamache reject Vince.
