Long Gone By
Izzy is the only child of Ana Alvarez, a single mother originally from Nicaragua who currently resides in Northern Indiana with her. Ana's life as she has known it comes to an end when a routine check in results in a deportation order being issued. It couldn't have come at a worse time for Izzy, who was just informed that she had been admitted to study at Indiana University. In the face of the unthinkable prospect of spending the rest of her life apart from her daughter, Ana makes the fateful decision to put everything on the line in one final, desperate attempt to ensure that Izzy's college expenses are covered before her time on Earth is over.
