Laputa
The Polish photographer Malgorzata (Krystyna Janda) and her married French lover Paul (Jean-Louis Trintignant) star in this romantic and politically symbolic drama characterized by lengthy dialogue and a tight emphasis on a single apartment scene (Sami Frey). Malgorzata and Paul meet up in West Berlin to spend time together before Malgorzata has return to Warsaw and Paul must return to his wife and daughter in the United States.
