Matt Ryder is convinced to induce his estranged and father Benjamin Ryder cross-country to send four old rolls of Kodachrome picture to the laboratory before it shuts down once and for all, in the world that could grow them. Along with Ben's nurse Zooey, the three navigate a global shifting from analogue to digital whilst looking to put the past.
