A set of down-on-their-luck swordsmen show up in a messy, windblown community, where they end up being involved in a local clan conflict. One, formerly a farmer, longs to end up being a worthy samurai. The other, a previous samurai haunted by his past, chooses living anonymously with gangsters. Yet when both males find the misdeeds of the wicked clan leader, they agree a band of rebels that are under siege at a remote mountain cabin.
