In the Family
Chip Hines, who is six years old and very smart, has only ever lived with his two dads, Cody and Joey, in the town of Martin, Tennessee. And it is a good life. Cody dies suddenly in a car accident, and Joey and Chip have a hard time getting back on their feet. Cody's will shows that he chose his sister to be Chip's guardian, just as they start to get along. When Chip is taken away from Joey, all the years of him fitting in with the family fall apart. Joey searches for a solution at home, where he is now living alone. Friends are on his side, but the law is not. Joey finds a way to make peace with his family and get closer to his son with the help of memories of Cody.
